All of our products and services are refundable only in the form of store credit when applicable. We ask you to please read the terms and conditions set out below carefully before booking a service or ordering merchandise from us. By completing your booking or your order, you are accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to abide by them.
Carmel offers a broad range of readings, classes, in person and online courses and events, services and merchandise, so sometimes additional terms or requirements may apply. Please read the product descriptions carefully as any additional terms set out there will form part of your agreement with us.

General terms and conditions
- In order to provide you with the services booked, we require you to provide us with your full name, email address and phone number, which are kept on our file. It is your obligation to provide us with true, accurate, current and complete information, and to maintain and properly update that information as and when circumstances require. It is important that we have current, valid contact information on file in case we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, course or class. If you fail to update your information with us and we are unable to contact you as a result, we reserve the right to treat your order as cancelled in full without refund or credit to you.
- Carmel makes every effort to provide you with helpful advice, and to make sure your experience is a positive one. However, she makes no representation and gives no warranty that the services or products she offers will meet your needs, requirements, or expectations.
- The information Carmel shares on her website, through her office and in consultations, readings, courses, and programs are for guidance only, and although she may speak about health, financial or other issues, the information shared does not and is not intended to replace consultations with qualified medical, financial, legal and others. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking outside help because of information obtained through Carmel’s website, her office, or a consultation. It is up to you to evaluate any information provided and what you do with the information or what action you take after receiving the information is your own responsibility and choice.
- We will not cover any travel costs incurred by you. in the case where you are travelling to an event or course. Our cancellation policy is clearly stated below, and travel charges are not covered in the event of cancelled events, groups, or appointments.
- Any refunds when applicable will be given in the form of a store credit only.
Reading Bookings
- Your reading must be paid for just prior to your appointment. We accept e-transfer or payment via credit card via PayPal invoice.
- We are not currently booking any private readings, however, should readings resume being booked they would be by phone only. Of course, this is always subject to change, at our discretion, if circumstances require. All phone readings are just as amazing as in-person readings. Carmel reads for clients all over the world via the phone.
Cancellation by you
- We do understand that emergencies and life can happen. If you are unable to attend an in-person event or course, you must notify the office as soon as possible with your request. If possible, please notify us in writing via email at least 48 hours in advance of your event. Events/Courses are only refunded in the form of store credit. However, we are always happy to move you to another event.
- We may, at our discretion, offer you a store credit instead of re-booking you’re reading, event, course, or service.
Cancellation by CJB
- Carmel needs to be at her best emotionally, mentally and physically to provide you with the best reading possible. All expected due dates for delivery are a guideline and are subject to change. As emergencies and life can happen to you, they can also happen to Carmel, and we may need to cancel and re-schedule events, readings, courses, etc, for a variety of reasons. These may include, but are not limited to:

- illness
- family emergency
- filming and travel schedule
- Etc.
If we require to re-schedule your service for any reason or at any time, we will provide you with as much notice as reasonably possible. If you do not wish to continue with your service you may request a full refund that will be given in the form of store credit.
- We may, at our discretion, offer store credit instead of re-scheduling any service, reading, event, etc.
Audio recordings
- Audio and Zoom readings are recorded, and we will provide you with a digital link to download your reading. This link will be emailed to you within two weeks of your reading.
- In some cases, technical issues may arise, and a session may not be properly recorded or the sound quality may not be ideal. We are not responsible for recordings where the session did not record properly.
- You may use your own recording device and make a recording of the zoom session for your own personal use. Please let us know before the reading starts if you will be making use of a personal recording device. Under no circumstances are either the recordings provided by us or the recordings made by you to be used for any purpose other than your own personal use.
Classes and courses
- Unless otherwise noted, all in-person classes and courses are refundable only in the form of store credit when applicable. In some limited cases, we may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due and owing on the first day of the class or event. All in-person classes or courses are refundable only in the event that the class or course has not been rescheduled to either an online forum or in person. All classes or courses are subject to the cancellation and/or rescheduling. In the event of a cancellation or reschedule you will be provided with as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation, we are not responsible for any travel related expenses. Please purchase your own travel insurance for any travel expenses.
- All online courses, programs, webinars, groups, audio readings, meditations and online digital content is non-refundable, as the content is given to you at the time of purchase or shortly thereafter. If for any reason you are struggling with any of these digitally, please reach out to us for technical support and we are happy to help.
Merchandise
- All merchandise is non-refundable except where there is a manufacturer’s defect in which case, we will provide you with either a replacement or full refund.
Credits
- Store credits can be applied to any other purchase at carmeljoybaird.com of readings, classes, courses, or merchandise of your choice.
Termination of access to services
- All services are provided solely at the discretion of Carmel Joy Baird, and Carmel reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services to anyone at any time and for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, illegal, threatening, harassing, obscene, abusive, degrading, intimidating behavior or fraudulent or deceptive conduct. Requests for services under false pretenses will be deemed null and void. This includes media, researchers or any others who do not disclose their affiliations or intentions. If in the event this should happen, you will be provided with a refund in the form of full store credit to be used on the Carmel Joy Baird website.
