Terms and Policies for CJB Licensed Facilitators

• All facilitators fees are Non-refundable and Non-transferable
• All facilitators may only charge between the minimum or maximum for each, level 1, 2, and 3 courses or all 3 together in a package.
• Level 1 Awaken – $329.00 – $699.00
• Level 2 Extensive $529.00 – $999.00
• Level 3 Extensive $399.00 – $599.00
• You may sell all 3 courses in a package price of $999.00 to $1499.00
• Each license will expire after 12 Months. You must renew your license if you wish to continue to teach under Carmel Joy Baird
• Each license will cover your registered area region only
• If you wish to cover another area on a short-term basis (IE: traveling internationally) this is permitted with permission, however, if this short-term license covers under 6 months, a full-time (12 Month) licensed facilitator will have the right to take over the area should the situation arise
• You must provide a clean & safe environment for your students while teaching
• You must be professional and represent Carmel Joy Baird and her business at all times. Treating others with dignity and respect at all times
• You must uphold confidentiality within your student and co-worker groups at all times
• If you have to cancel your course for any reason, you must return or credit all funds to your students
• If you have to reschedule a course, it must be within your 12-month facilitator license
• There are designated district regions and you will be the only teacher within your region, at Carmel Joy Baird’s discretion. We want our facilitators to succeed so we will NOT saturate regions
• You can only host classes within your region unless otherwise given permission by Carmel Joy Baird. For example – If you are traveling to a predesignated area and there is no facilitator in that area, you may request to teach at that location
• Courses cannot be combined. You must  teach level 1, level 2  and level 3 separately
• All teaching materials are copyright and may not be altered in any way, shape or form. You must only teach the theories and principles as laid out by Carmel Joy Baird during any teaching sessions
• You must report to us via email when you are scheduling and teaching your courses. We will require a minimum of 4 weeks in advance for website advertising for you. However, the more notice you give us the better
• If you change your email or contact info, please let us know right away as you will be promoted on Carmel Joy Baird website as a licensed facilitator.
• You are only allowed to teach the Carmel Joy Baird courses you are licensed for.
• If you teach any course or program outside of your region without permission or without a current, up to date license, you will be fined $7500.00 and/or any additional court or collection fee’s
• You can use your brand/logo next to Carmel Joy’s Baird’s logo while advertising for Carmel’s courses, however, you may NOT alter Carmel Joy Baird’s logo or print/web materials
• All licensing will be conducted solely upon the discretion of Carmel Joy Baird. Carmel maintains the right to refuse or discontinue services to any individual at any time for any reason. Requests for her training services under false pretences will be deemed null and void. This includes media, researchers or any others who do not disclose their affiliation or intentions
• All CJB licenses, merchandise and products purchased from Carmel Joy Baird’s website are non-refundable
• You can not sell your license facilitator license to anyone else. Facilitators can only apply through Carmel Joy Baird when spots become available
• I understand that during the duration of my 12 month facilitator license with Carmel Joy Baird (and any persons or incorporated entities related to Carmel Joy Baird) I will gain knowledge of, or have access to, information relating to the business (including activities related to the television program “Mom’s A Medium”) and personal and private affairs of Carmel Joy Baird, her family, and third parties who may from time-to-time have dealings with Carmel Joy Baird (referred to as the “Information”). All the Information, regardless of the form in which it is recorded, transmitted, observed or expressed, or to which it may be converted or transcribed, shall include, without limitation, written and electronically stored or access information and data, and includes the name and identity of all such persons
• I acknowledge that all Information taught to me in my 12 months licensing program is strictly confidential and I agree that I shall not reveal to any person or entity, or use any Information at any time, except as expressly directed by Carmel Joy Baird as may be required by law (I may not teach others how to teach these courses or programs)
• I acknowledge and agree that my obligation of confidentiality under paragraph 2 is of indefinite duration and, irrespective of whether I continue to be a licensed facilitator by Carmel Joy Baird, I will never disclose any Information to any person or entity, except as expressly directed by Carmel Joy Baird, or as may be required by law
• I undertake and agree that no Information will be distributed, altered, copied, interfered with or destroyed, except in accordance with the instructions of Carmel Joy Baird. I may not use any of her teaching materials, instructions or therefore otherwise outside of my classes that I am licensed to teach
• I agree to use extreme caution with and take all steps to safeguard, the confidentiality of any part of the Information that may come into my possession at any time or in any place, and in particular when using any type of electronic device for Carmel Joy Baird. You may not teach your courses via live webinar, Facebook lives or online in anyway shape or form. All courses must only be taught in person
• For greater certainty and without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing, I understand, acknowledge and agree that the following conduct would amount to a breach of my obligations under this agreement:
  1. Discussing negative or defamatory information with any person or entity about Carmel Joy Baird, her staff, River Lane Ranch, her courses, products or services.
  2. Discussing Information in a location or in a manner that may be overheard by unauthorized third parties that would put Carmel Joy Baird at risk;
  3. Failing to keep Information safe and secure at all times for Carmel Joy Baird
  4. Allowing Information to be displayed in any non-confidential setting; or
  5. Disclosing, divulging, revealing or using any teaching information outside the content of my courses
• I understand and agree that compliance with this agreement is a condition of my relationship with Carmel Joy Baird or River Lane Ranch and that failure to comply strictly with each term of this agreement may result in the termination of my facilitator license without notice or any refund given.
• I agree that if I am compelled by law to disclose Information, I shall co-operate with Carmel Joy Baird in order to prevent or minimize such disclosure. I further agree that I will only disclose that portion of the Information that I am compelled to disclose and that I will exercise all reasonable efforts to seek reliable assurances that such portion of the Information will be accorded confidential treatment
• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta and the laws of Canada
• The covenants in this agreement are separate and severable, and unenforceability of any specific covenant shall not affect the provisions of any other covenant. Moreover, if any court determines that the restrictions as set forth herein are unreasonable, then it is the intention of the parties that such restrictions be enforced to the fullest extent which the court deems reasonable, and the agreement shall thereby be reformed
