I wasn’t broken.
But I also wasn’t moving forward.
And that’s a very strange place to be.
From the outside, it can look like you’re doing better.

You’ve walked through the trauma.
You’ve survived what felt like it could have taken you out.
You’re okay.
But inside… something still feels stuck.
I call it being a survivor of stuckness.
It’s that place where you’ve done the work.
You know you’re stronger.
You know you see things differently now.
But you don’t know how to take the next step.
You don’t know how to fully come back to yourself…
to the version of you that you’ve always felt was there.
The one you were meant to be in this lifetime.
Because even though you’ve moved through the past… the past hasn’t fully let go of you.
And the truth is….You can’t fully live in the present
if you’re still carrying pieces of what tried to break you.
I lived there longer than I want to admit.
Trying to figure out how to rebuild.
How to move forward.
How to become myself again.
And somewhere along that journey…I stopped trying to have all the answers.
And I started turning toward faith.
Not perfect faith.
Not polished faith.
Real faith.
The kind where you don’t always understand what God is doing…
but you trust that He is doing something.
That’s when I started writing my Monday Morning Chat emails.
Not because I had everything figured out… but because I didn’t.
I needed a place to be honest.
To talk about what this life actually looks like.
What it means to grow.
To question.
To feel everything shifting… inside and out.
To walk through seasons like menopause, life transitions, identity changes…
and still show up.
Because faith doesn’t remove life.
It gives you a way to walk through it.
And what I began to realize…
Was that not everything I was learning could be shared publicly.
Not because I didn’t want to…but because not everyone is ready for that level of truth.
Not everyone wants to sit with what’s real.
Not everyone is ready to reflect, to grow, and to be honest with themselves.
That’s why I created The Private Room.
This is where I go deeper.

and allow space for God to speak through me and with me in real time.
