Group Events & Webinar – Acceptance of terms and conditions

 

Thank you for your interest in the products and services provided by Carmel Joy Baird & Melissa Joy Baird.

We ask you to read the terms and conditions set out below carefully before booking a service or ordering merchandise from us. By completing your booking or your order, you are accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to abide by them.

General terms and conditions

 

1. In order to provide you with the services booked, we require you to provide us with your full name, email address and phone number, which are kept on our file. It is your obligation to provide us with true, accurate, current and complete information, and to maintain and properly update that information as and when circumstances require.

 

2. Carmel makes every effort to provide you with helpful advice, and to make sure your experience is a positive one. However, she makes no representation and gives no warranty that the services or products she offers will meet your needs, requirements or expectations.

 

3. The information Carmel shares on her website, through her office and in webinar or in-person events is guidance only, and although she may speak about health, financial or other issues, the information shared does not and is not intended to replace consultations with qualified medical, financial, legal and other Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained through Carmel’s website, her office, through an event, or a consultation. It is up to you to evaluate any information provided and what you do with the information or what action you take after receiving the information is your own responsibility and choice.

 

Group Booking Policies

4. A 50% Deposit is required to book and hold your event date for a webinar or group function with Carmel & Melissa Baird. Your event spot is not confirmed until payment has been received. Your deposit will be paid via the website during check out. The website accepts all major credit cards. This deposit is non-refundable, unless otherwise specified.

 

5. The remaining 50% deposit is due no late than 7 days before your scheduled event. Failure to remit the remaining balance will result in the cancellation of your event and no refund will be provided for your initial deposit. Payments can be made with a Carmel Joy Baird representative via the phone or in person.

6. We do understand that emergencies and life can If you need to postpone your event or webinar, you must notify the office as soon as possible with your request to re-schedule. If possible, please notify us in writing via email at least 48 hours in advance of your booking. If you cannot email, please notify us by phone.
7. Your group booking will receive one “grace date” that will be scheduled by you and the Carmel Joy Baird team. Cancellation of the “grace date” will result in your event being cancelled, no refund will be provided for your event.

8. Carmel needs to be at her best emotionally, mentally and physically to provide you with the best reading As emergencies and life can happen to you, they can also happen to Carmel, and we may need to cancel and re-schedule your event for a variety of reasons. These may include, but are not limited to:
   • Illness
   • Family emergency
   • Weather conditions: During the winter months, unpredictable snowstorms can cause poor road conditions. Because River Lane Ranch is semi-rural, the roads are not cleared as quickly as those in the city. Accidents have happened in the past and Carmel has a strict policy on closing the office and not allowing clients to drive in bad weather conditions.

 

9. If we do need to re-schedule your event, we will provide you with as much notice as reasonably possible and will re-schedule you to the next available event date.
10. Should you choose to not reschedule your event, that was cancelled by our office, you will receive an immediate refund of your monies.

 

Arrival & Event Space

 

11. Please note that there are railroad tracks on the way to River Lane Ranch that can cause During the winter months, unpredictable snowstorms can cause poor road conditions. Because River Lane Ranch is semi-rural, the roads are not cleared as quickly as those in the city. We ask that you take these things into account and time your trip accordingly. Please contact the office as soon as possible if you are lost or delayed.
12. The event is held in a heated arena with a sand base, all guests will be required to dress appropriately, our team will be in contact with you with more information regarding this. Smaller groups may have the option of a smaller indoor event space.
13. You and your guests will be provided seating during the event with banquet chairs. It is your responsibility to notify the Carmel Joy Baird team of any guests with mobility issues.
14. There are outhouses onsite for you and your guests. Should your event be held in a smaller indoor space, there will be washrooms available.

 

Termination of access to services

 

15. All services are provided solely at the discretion of Carmel Joy Baird & Melissa Joy Baird. Carmel & Melissa reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services to anyone at any time and for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, illegal, threatening, harassing, obscene, abusive, degrading, intimidating behavior or fraudulent or deceptive conduct. Requests for services under false pretenses will be deemed null and void. This includes media, researchers or any others who do not disclose their affiliations or

 

Event Details

 

You will be provided a 90 Minute Open Mediumship with Carme Joy Baird & Melissa Joy Baird.  Carmel & Melissa will talk about their lives as mediums, then do readings for audience members via random draw. All audience members will receive a ticket and be entered into draw to receive a reading.  Everyone is attendance is not guaranteed a reading. The host of the event is guaranteed to receive a reading from Carmel and/or Melissa.

 

There is a minimum of 6 guests per booking and a Maximum of 50 guests per booking.

 

A minimum of 2 staff members will attend.  These staff members will assist during show and run mics to audience members who receive readings. The staff will be available to you to help have an amazing event.
